Herbstalk is a grassroots, Boston-area herbal event. We host classes on herbal and holistic health topics, offer urban plant walks, and bring together herbal crafters & artisans from across New England and beyond.
Our focus is on community. Our spirited events inspire and educate people about the art and science of herbalism.
We want to create a more beautiful and healthy world by offering a gathering place to exchange herbal and plant-based knowledge. We welcome people of all backgrounds and experiences who share our vision of community and well-being.

Land Acknowledgement
Herbstalk gathers on the ancestral lands of the Pawtucket and Massachusett tribal nations. We also acknowledge all Nations and peoples of the Dawnland region, otherwise known as New England, including Abenaki, Micmac, Maliseet, Narragansett, Nipmuc, Passamaquoddy, Pawtucket, Pennacook, Penobscot, Pequot, Wampanoag, and those we have omitted due to colonial erasure or ignorance.
We extend our deepest respect to the ancestors and citizens of these Nations, as we acknowledge the abuses and displacement which Native people have suffered for centuries. The Herbstalk community recognizes that land acknowledgements are only one step towards creating truth and accountability. We commit to working towards healing & reconciliation, and to developing a deeper relationship with the lands we live upon, its history, and its people.
