All About the Event...
Herbstalk is a grassroots, Boston-area herbal conference that takes place every June.
We are a welcoming bunch, and everyone from professional herbalists & practitioners to herbal novices (and people passing on the street) enjoy our events.
Join us for any of the following:
If you wish to attend classes we encourage you to get tickets in advance, as space is limited.
You can also just show up the day of the event to browse the Marketplace, shop and have lunch - entry is free and open to the public all weekend!
What is Herbstalk?
Herbstalk is an educational community gathering offering herbal classes, plant walks and a marketplace. Our intent is to share herbal knowledge with a large audience during the event, and to build community around herbalism and health.
Who comes to Herbstalk?
Herbstalk is for people who love plants. Our attendees come from around New England (and beyond) to teach and attend classes for both herbal beginners and more advanced students. Herbstalk is for anyone who wants to learn more about herbalism and to connect with like-minded folks.
What is community herbalism?
The purpose of community herbalism is to help people learn practical, everyday ways to take care of themselves and their families by using food and herbs. At Herbstalk we hope to create healthier communities through education.
Why do you hold this event in the city?
We are unique as an herbal event because we gather in the city. We want to meet people where they already are and to make herbalism as accessible as possible to people in the Boston area and beyond. Plus, there are plenty of wonderful herbs that grow at our doorsteps and all across the cityscape.
When are tickets available to the event?
Class tickets will go on sale in mid-April. As always, our herbal marketplace is free and open to all!
